Are Credits Deducted When a Generation Fails
Failed web generations do not deduct credits, and API credits are returned when a submitted task later reaches a failed status; requests that fail immediately consume none. Verify the final status, wallet, history, task UUID, and API consumed value before contacting support.
Web generation
Please be assured that if your model generation fails, your credits will not be deducted and will remain in your account. If the generation is successful, you can find your models under Asset → Mine and proceed with the next steps.
API generation

When an API request is successful, the response will include a
consumedfield, indicating the number of credits consumed by that task. -
If a successfully submitted task is later detected as failed during polling, the consumed credits will be returned to your account wallet.

For tasks where the request itself fails, no credits will be consumed.
How to verify a suspected deduction

Wait for the final task status rather than relying on an early pending state.

Open the personal or Team Wallet used for the task.

Compare available, frozen, and regular or subscription credits and review History.

Match the entry time and amount to the task UUID and
consumedresponse.
If a terminally failed task has a confirmed charge that does not resolve after the displayed release time, contact Feedback or hello@help.hyper3d.ai. Include the task UUID, endpoint or model, time, final status, exact error, wallet type, and History evidence. Support can verify the transaction; do not assume a refund until that review is complete.
